Morgan was a featured actress in AIDS prevention and education video Safe Sex for Men and Women. The profits from this film was donated towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is also on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a member of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Force. She has also spearheaded many other fundraising projects to fight AIDS and has testified before the specially-created Congressional committee about AIDS Education. She also serves as a Board of Directors for Amfar as well as the board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop asked her at times to take his place in AIDS occasions. She also hosted a AIDS Awareness Special with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell has interviewed her several times on AIDS in Nightline. Morgan has been nominated for an Emmy for her special Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. Morgan co-starred in ABC TV's Your Money or Your Wife in the spring alongside Joan Rivers. She then started the summer by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was directed by Von Zerneck/Sertner and included Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. The next time she appeared, Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady along with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan was also in the psychological thriller produced for USA Network. The film was a huge success and received the highest ratings ever.
